Administrative Assistant – Basking Ridge, NJ – $50k to $70k d/o/e

Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director and Department Heads.
- Draft, proofread, manage email, letters, and other written correspondence.
- Assist with creation, maintenance and updating of organizational policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT and software related issues in coordination with IT support when necessary.
- Organize and maintain digital and paper filing systems.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications to ensure smooth operations.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes as needed.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and data summaries for leadership.
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives.
- Track and follow up on outstanding tasks, project timelines, and deliverables.
- Compile, organize and summarize data for internal reporting and quality improvement purposes.
- Assist in managing schedules, calendars, coordinating travel and conference arrangements.
Requirements include:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience, preferrable in healthcare or nonprofit organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other common business software, familiarity with database management preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
