Sales Account Manager – Piscataway, NJ – To $100k, d/o/e

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at big box retailers and distributors.
  • Understand the unique needs and goals of each account and tailor sales strategies to meet those requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products or services to customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned sector,

including identifying potential clients, conducting market research, and developing sales strategies.

  • Proactively seek out and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and other business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, pricing, and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and clients.
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the retail and distribution sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the big box retail landscape and distributor

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite with concentration on
  • Possess the ability to navigate the complexities of the retail and distribution industries while building and maintaining long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Must be strategic and results-driven with a proven track record in sales, account management, and business development.
