Product Marketing Specialist (Hybrid) – Edison

Responsibilities include:
- In this position you’ll work with the Product Management, Marketing and User Support Teams to help deliver new registrants to the platform, and drive increased user engagement.
- Delivers annual plan to achieve platform registrant and engagement objectives
- Creates product positioning and creative brief documents for internal and external use
- Writes copy for web site, emails, flyers and various marketing collateral
- Coordinates contractors in the delivery of marketing collateral, e.g. videos, advertisements, brochures, swag – and maintain a consolidated resource page for promotional materials.
- Ensures consistent implementation of marketing positioning and aesthetic branding across all communications and collateral
- Coordinates contractors in the delivery of marketing collateral, e.g. videos, advertisements, brochures, swag – and maintain a consolidated resource page for promotional materials.
- Leads development, execution, and evaluation of journey-mapped, direct outreach campaigns
- Leads and executes Ambassadors program consisting of association volunteers
- Evaluates all marketing initiatives, and recommend improvements in consultation with Program Director and marketing teams
- Reviews trending reports weekly, utilizing analytics to improve execution of external marketing, and platform engagement
- Keeps current all trending related to platform registrants and engagement
- Consolidates and summarize reporting for senior management as requested
- Recommends improvements to analytics dashboards to yield better insights into marketing and engagement correlation and causality
- Develops and implements content and badging strategies to drive increased community engagement
- Offers assistance or workshops to users of company system on how they can maximize their productivity in the use of the platform
- Recommends improvements to platform to drive improved user satisfaction and increased community engagement
- Coordinates purchase requisitions for vendors contributing to the program
- Processes and tracks vendor invoices, to ensure timely payment
- Proficient with Virtual Meeting tools such as Google Meet, WebEx, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, related degree, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years or more experience in product marketing, preferably online products and/or online communities
- 2-4 years’ experience with project managing and evaluating end-to-end, marketing and online engagement programs
- 2-4 years’ experience producing analytics trending reports and charting
- 2-4 years’ experience with vendor coordination
- Excellent copywriting, editing and communication skills
- Ability to shift focus/multi-task in fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines on both individual and team-based projects
- Ensure consistency of messaging internally, as well as with all external communications
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with staff, volunteers and vendors
- Microsoft and Google tool suites
- Experience with Marketo, Google Analytics and/or Tableau highly desirable
- Some domestic and/or international travel required; ability to travel up to 6x per year based on business needs
