Responsibilities include:
- Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and competitor’s product lines.
- Builds future business strategy including new product line ups, creating necessary partnerships
- Works to define full product lifecycle from inception to end goal
- Collaborates with R&D, Marketing, Social, PR, Web development to ensure that all work together to consistently have a smooth collaboration between said departments.
- Builds necessary sales team as department growth dictates.
- Locates or proposes potential products and business deals by contacting potential partners.
- Discovers and explores business opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
- Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.
- Recommends equity investments.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations.
- Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
- Estimates company needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Manages necessary processes during the product lifecycle of the product by working with different internal or external teams.
Requirements include:
- BA in business administration or equivalent related work experience preferred
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of B2B sales experience
- Must be motivated with strong planning, prospecting and relationship building skills. ales
- Excellent verbal/written communication as well as presentation skills
- Territory management
- Market knowledge
- Strong closing ability
- Must be goal oriented
