Business Development Manager – Piscataway, NJ – To $150k (Business Printing Solutions)

Responsibilities include:

  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and competitor’s product lines.
  • Builds future business strategy including new product line ups, creating necessary partnerships
  • Works to define full product lifecycle from inception to end goal
  • Collaborates with R&D, Marketing, Social, PR, Web development to ensure that all work together to consistently have a smooth collaboration between said departments.
  • Builds necessary sales team as department growth dictates.
  • Locates or proposes potential products and business deals by contacting potential partners.
  • Discovers and explores business opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.
  • Recommends equity investments.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations.
  • Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
  • Estimates company needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Manages necessary processes during the product lifecycle of the product by working with different internal or external teams.

Requirements include:

  • BA in business administration or equivalent related work experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Must be motivated with strong planning, prospecting and relationship building skills. ales
  • Excellent verbal/written communication as well as presentation skills
  • Territory management
  • Market knowledge
  • Strong closing ability
  • Must be goal oriented
