Brand Development Manager, Senior – Springfield, NJ*

Our client is seeking a brand or senior brand development manager to join their team and lead their product and commercial innovation and renovation plans and execution as well as their business model optimization. They are seeking an energetic candidate with tenacity, passion for food, and classical training and/or growth brand experience.

Responsibilities include:

Ownership of short, medium and long-term innovation and renovation pipeline development plan including where/when to play and right to win
Communications innovation and execution leadership
Ownership of plans, KPIs, budget, execution and tracking for marketing communications tests, including SEM, display, email, and paid social
Business models analysis, recommended optimization plans and implementation• Pricing/sizing/promotional analysis and strategy to optimize revenue and profitability for the brand and each SKU
Portfolio management plans and execution to optimize revenue and profitability• Ecommerce business model and implementation plan
Cross-functional product innovation and renovation leadership
Execution from concept through launch, including concept (re)development, naming and packaging, pricing, and trade story development
Product forecasts, timelines, financials and budgets

Requirements include:

BA/BS; MBA preferred
2-5 years or equivalent experience in CPG brand management, preferably with emerging brand experience
Experience motivating and leading cross-functional teams and agencies without formal authority
Aptitude using the Microsoft Office suite, SPINs and IRI
Strong forecasting, budgeting and analytical ability
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
This position reports to the Executive Director, Sales & Marketing
Travel up to 15%
